  1. History of Basic Sciences
....Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Geology, Botany and Zoology.
2. History of Medicine
....Medicine, Pharmacology and Veterinary Medicine.
3. History of Technology
....Mechanic, Hydraulic, Architecture, Military and Industrial Engineering.
Language:
Research papers should be submitted in one the following languages:



 

> Arabic
> English
> French
> German

Papers written in other languages are accepted if they are abstracted in English.

Location:
The symposium will be held in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates
Participation Requirements:
  1- Participants are supposed to be faculty members at Universities, Institutions or.. .... Centers of Studies interested in subjects of the symposium, or researchers...... .... who have published important papers on the history of Arabic Sciences.
2- Papers should be delivered in one of the languages of the symposium, and in. .... all cases an English abstract is required.
3- Papers should be original, and have not been published or delivered at any . .... ... other conference on symposia.
4- Papers should be submitted typewritten to the committee of the symposium by. .... the end of April 2000. 5- Participants will be informed of the acceptance of ..... .... their papers a month from the date of receiving them.

* On Sunday,19th September 1999,Zayed Center for Heritage and History organised a lecture entitled: " The lslamic and Arabic Reaction towards Globalisatoin", by Dr. Ahmad Al-Kubaisi.
* On 17th October 1999,the Center organised a lecture for Dr. Ahmad Saad Al-Din Tarabin, professor of History atDamascus University. The lecture was on " Jerusalem and the Jewish Settlement".
* On 15th November 1999, Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Douri, The renowned Arab Historian gave a lecture on "The Historical Strucure of the Arabs".
* The Centre, in cooperation with the UAE University, supported a conference, held in Al-Ain on 22-23th November 1999.
* The Centre organised a training course on Heritage from 19th June 1999 until 16th July 1999. Thirty female graduates and students participated in the course.
* Mr Abdul-Bari Atwan, Editor-in-Chief of the daily Al-Qudis gave a lecture on 31st January 2000.
